Boundaries in the design field are shifting – borders are challenged and constantly expanding trough new tools such as code, animation and dimensionality. Those means become increasingly important, shaping a new visual language and creating new experiences. Following the Aabbc exhibition, which brought together contemporary international graphic designers, we initiated Taaalks, a networking and exchange event, which brings together creatives and designers seeking for new perspectives.
For this event, we have developed a visual identity that contains website and animations as well as posters, stickers, invitation cards and so on. The branding is characterized by the use of strong colors, contrasts and moving shapes. By the constant reposition of the shapes and colors, there arises a huge variety of optical illusions and shifting perspectives, representing new design process at the intersection of design and coding.
